How it works

How it works Artwork for All My Own Work products is done on paper templates which are provided free of charge. We include extra sheets to cover mistakes either in calculation or during artwork!

All products are made to order, so ascertain who wants what and complete the order form on each template accordingly (this does not apply to laminated placemats or schools tea towels)

Once you have decided which fundraising project you want to do, email, phone, fax, write to us or use the order form and we’ll send you the templates.

  1. An item with a minimum order of 1 is suitable for any group, large or small. One of the nicest aspects of ‘all my own work’ is that every child has a winning design – no need to pick out the "best of the bunch".
  2. We suggest that all the children in the group complete some artwork. Show it to the parents and ask them to order the appropriate product(s). We think it is best to collect your money in at this stage.
  3. Make sure that you will be able to fulfil any minimum orders e.g. the "School Tea Towel" has a minimum order of 100, so if you only have 20 children in your group, you are unlikely to need 100 tea towels – you could opt for the ‘Group Tea Towel’ instead.
  4. When you have decided what to offer, contact us for your free templates – not only does it ensure you are using the right sized paper, it also saves you a lot of cutting out! We can supply as many as you like – just return any unused templates with your finished artwork. To avoid disappointing results, it is extremely important that you read our user-friendly ‘how to get best results’ section.
  5. It is vitally important that you use the correct medium to produce your artwork. To avoid unnecessary waste and disappointment we return unsuitable artwork unprocessed. However, as long as the basic instructions in the 'How to Get Best Results' section are followed, successful results can be achieved by even the youngest in the group.
  6. ‘all my own work’ has proved unsuitable for school fetes as people want an instant product, so we do not recommend it on a stall!
  7. When all the artwork and orders are ready, return them to us for processing. You do not need to send payment at this stage – your invoice will arrive either with the products or shortly afterwards.

Using Your Own Paper
It is possible to complete artwork for certain products without using our paper templates. If you use your own paper, it MUST be white - not cream or off-white- and it MUST be cut to size.
The sizes are as follows:
PJ1 is A5 (1/2 A4 - 21 x 15cm)
PJ2 is A3 (2 x A4 - 30 x 15cm)
PJ3 is 19cm x 24cm
PJC is A6 (1/4 A4 - 15 x 10.5cm)
PJM and TEX are 13.5 x 7.2cm
Please note that PJM and TEX will not have a coloured border unless you add one of your own.
All other products MUST be ordered from our paper templates.

Carriage Charges
All orders or part orders, large or small are subject to a delivery/handling charge of £7.00 inc VAT. Whilst we do not have a minimum order level, we do have a handling and delivery charge. This charge, £7.00 inc VAT, covers such expenses as handling, packaging, bank charges, invoicing etc on orders of all sizes. Clocks, Melamines, Schools Tea Towels and Uniforms carry their own independent delivery charge even if ordered along side other ‘all my own work’ products.

Payment
One cheque payable to "all my own work ltd" please, not one from each parent! Do not send cash.

Time Scales
Working backwards from when you need the products, allow yourself at least a week to hand out the items. Allow postage time (both ways) and the 28 days we need to process the artwork. Then add the time you need to complete the pictures and collect in your orders. The artwork will invariably take you longer than you think – sickness and holidays have to be taken into account – so please do not leave everything until the last minute! If you are pushed for time our Rainbow Gym Bags are an excellent last minute fundraiser!

The Legal Bit!
We have to mention that we will not knowingly infringe copyright, so please make sure that any artwork is actually done by the child. Also, sorry - no professional photos, unless accompanied by the express permission of the photographer.

A Word About Packaging
How it works We are avid re-cyclers of packaging. You might find that your outer envelopes and boxes have been used at least once before. This does not in any way detract from the quality and presentation of the finished items inside the boxes. If you do receive a battered-looking box… just think of the environment!
